DFPS and OCBCT Receive Additional Unsolicited Proposals for Region 7A

On October 22, 2024, the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and the Office of Community-Based Care Transition (OCBCT) received two unsolicited proposals for Community-Based Care. The proposals are for the Central Texas/Waco community area, otherwise known as Region 7A. This community area includes the following counties: Bell, Bosque, Brazos, Coryell, Falls, Freestone, Grimes, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Leon, Limestone, Llano, Madison, McLennan, Milam, Mills, Robertson, San Saba, and Williamson.

What is next? As a result of multiple proposals being received, the unsolicited proposal process for Region 7A is cancelled, and DFPS, along with OCBCT, will begin the formal procurement process for advertising a Request for Application for Region 7A.

We at The Legal Eagle 🦅 watchdog organization of East Texas will be investigating these proposals to insure that it is in the best interest of the East Texas area.
